Special Notes (Pre-registration information):
- SCV Blackhawks has decided not to have a Boys 8U or Girls Elementary School Divisions for the upcoming 2026 Spring Season. If you are interested, please email scvblackhawks@scvyla.com letting us know and based on interest, we may create a team.
- All player registrations will require an active USA Lacrosse Membership valid through 5/31/2026 (Spring Season). If your current member is active and will be expiring during the 2026 spring season, you will be required to renew before being able to proceed with registration.
- Example: Your USA Lacrosse membership expires March 10, 2026, you will be required to renew now.
- Practices are planned Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursdays from 6-8pm @ Central Park starting the last week in January.
- Games will be held on Saturdays in Moorpark, CA for Divisions 10U-14U and on the westside (eg. Santa Monica) for MS Girls.
Waitlist Information
- SCV Blackhawks has two ways to join the waitlist once a division is full. Both waitlists will be combined and looked at from submission dates for any future decisions.
- (1) If you have a valid USA Lacrosse Membership or willing to purchase/renew one for $35, please use the Register link below and register as normal. The season registration fee will not be charged until waitlist is accepted.

10U Division - $425
Boys 10U (2nd-4th Grade)The 10U program introduces boys in 2nd through 4th grade to competitive lacrosse in a fun, supportive environment. Emphasis is on mastering basic skills—catching, throwing, ground balls, and cradling—while learning team play fundamentals. Players wear full equipment and gain confidence through gameplay with minimal contact, focusing on skill development and sportsmanship.
2nd Team Forming - Registration Open
12U Division - $450
Boys 12U (5th-6th Grade)
The 12U program is tailored for boys in 5th and 6th grades, aiming to advance core lacrosse skills and introduce more structured gameplay. Players build on passing, shooting, and defensive techniques, developing tactical understanding and teamwork. With moderate contact allowed, players start to experience more competitive games, focusing on quick decision-making and game strategy.
Full - Waitlist Forming
14U Division - $450
Boys 14U (7th-8th Grade)
In the 14U division, boys in 7th and 8th grades play at a more competitive level, working on advanced skills and game strategies. Emphasis shifts toward refining position-specific skills, offensive and defensive plays, and conditioning. Full-contact gameplay introduces players to higher-level competition, preparing them for high school lacrosse and reinforcing discipline, teamwork, and leadership.
Girls MS Division - $450
Girls MS (6th-8th Grade)
In the Middle School program, girls in 6th through 8th grade play at a competitive level with an emphasis on advanced skills and strategic gameplay aligned with girls' lacrosse rules. The focus is on developing position-specific skills, offensive and defensive strategies, and building endurance. With limited contact, players are introduced to high-level competition while prioritizing safety, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This program prepares players for high school lacrosse by strengthening discipline, game awareness, and leadership skills.

Multi-Player Discount
For families registration more than 2 players, SCV Blackhawks offers a multi-player discount.
- 2-Players discount $25 per player
- 3-Players discount $50 per player
- 4-Players discount $75 per player
USA Lacrosse Membership Required
Every child playing lacrosse should have a USA Lacrosse Membership. This is required by the Southern California Lacrosse Association (SCLA) and by the organizations within. A membership has many benefits including a medical liability and causality insurance policy, magazine and a wealth of lacrosse information. Additionally, is required by many programs for additional, off-season play.

Player Boundaries
Please see the below map of the communities the Santa Clarita Valley Youth Lacrosse Association (SCVYLA) service. If you live outside of these areas, please request a wavier by contacting us at scvyla@gmail.com and await approval from the Southern California Lacrosse Association (our governing league) before submitting your registration.
Refund Policy Information
SCV Blackhawks Lacrosse has a strict no refund policy and no refunds (partial or full) will be issued under any circumstance. Vertical Insure strongly encourages you to consider purchasing Registration Cancellation Protection for your registration payment in the event that you are unable to participate due to an injury, illness, transportation difficulty, or other covered reason. This will provide relief from the "No Refund Policy" by refunding your registration costs should an incident occur.
